PLAN. PREPARE. PERFORMANCE. PURPOSE!
WHO WE ARE
The WardBoy Project (WBP) serves a steadfast commitment to transforming the lives of today’s Bay Area's youth. We strive to be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change, by offering a suite of resources, programs, and opportunities meticulously designed to nurture personal and academic growth. WBP empowers young individuals to unlock their full potential, fostering a culture of wise decision-making, resilience, and holistic well-being. By embedding the core principles of success into the fabric of their lives, we aim to pave pathways to prosperity, ensuring that the youth we touch are poised for a future replete with possibilities and achievements.
OUR CAUSE
We work to help today’s youth with the resources they need to succeed in life personally and professionally.
OUR MISSION
WBP strives to help 100,000 students, ages 8 through 18, prepare for success academically, athletically, and socially by providing educational tools, life skills, and mentorship over the next 5 years, so they can develop the discipline and balance needed to tackle any challenges they may face.
We will do this by activating 10 WardBoy Project Mentoring Programs by collaborating with local schools and community-based organizations, hosting 20 Ward Boy Camps, and 5 educational symposiums within 5 years to impact an additional 50,000 people looking for the inspiration needed to succeed in life.
OUR VISION
The goal of our vision is to instill these essential fundamentals of success, ensuring that our youth have access to better opportunities and a brighter future.

A TALE OF TWO BROTHERS... AND ONE FOOTBALL!
Brothers TJ and Terron Ward collectively and successfully pursued their passion for football, both having a deep understanding and respect for philanthropy, now giving back to the community that raised them. Sayings such as, "Each one must be willing to reach back and teach one" and "I am my brothers' keeper" inspired the birth of the WardBoy Project.
Growing up in urban San Francisco, one half of the WardBoy Project, TJ Ward learned early in life that success comes from hard work and dedication. Following his brother's values, Terron Ward embraced these same principles. Both brothers are synergistically passionate about giving back to the sport, what it first gave them, a safe place.
The East Bay Area first molded the brothers, so their enthusiasm for giving back is grounded here. Including but not limited to financial assistance to attend the variety of camps and events the WardBoy Project provides.
Although all aspects of the game have contributed to and shaped the WardBoys into the successful men they are today, their family has equally contributed to their moral and ethical development. As sons to former NFL player Terrell Ward Sr., TJ and Terron are very fortunate to have received guidance and support from their father, resulting in a strong work ethic furthering their success.
Through coaching and other programs, the WardBoys are taking lessons they learned and instilling them into the student-athletes in their mentorship program, focusing on their socioeconomic, educational, and physical needs.
The Wardboy Project emphasizes the importance of education while highlighting physical and mental health, leading their mentees to successful and fulfilling lives.
